We’re seeking a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our team on a contract basis, helping individuals safely get to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities. Position: Contract NEMT Driver
Location: Raleigh/Durham
Pay: Competitive rates per trip, based on mileage and service provided
Type: Contract (Flexible schedule)
Responsibilities:
-Provide safe, reliable, and punctual transportation for clients to medical appointments and healthcare facilities.
-Assist passengers as needed, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe during transit.
-Maintain professionalism and courteousness, treating all passengers with dignity and respect.
-Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
Requirements:
-Must be 18 years or older.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Proof of valid vehicle insurance and registration.
-Insurance
-Previous experience in a driving role (preferably NEMT, rideshare, or similar).
-Reliable vehicle that meets safety and comfort standards.
-Mobile phone with GPS (iPhone or Android)
-Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to customer service.
-Must pass a national background check and DOT drug screening.
-CPR Certified
-First aid training.
-HIPAA Training
-Passenger assistance training (PASS)
