Duties:
– Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, buses, and shuttles, depending on the specific job requirements
– Transport passengers or deliver goods to their designated locations in a timely manner
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe driving experience for all passengers and pedestrians
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
– Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicles are in proper working order
– Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
Requirements:
– 18 years or older
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Commercial driving experience is preferred but not required
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with passengers and customers in a professional manner
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the job requirements
– Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes to efficiently navigate through different areas
– Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings as mandated by the employer
– CPR/First Aid and AED Certified
– HIPAA Certified
– PASS Certified
Skills:
– Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, such as vans, buses, or shuttles
– Ability to maintain vehicles in good condition through regular inspections and maintenance
– Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers or customers
– Capable of lifting heavy objects when necessary for loading or unloading purposes
– Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols for transporting passengers or goods
